Kosovo Joe rides again. #NUFC ⚫⚪
Good little read here on what Woltemade is about & shows how highly he is thought of by some over in Germany. Massive fee, but something had to give and if Bayern Munich viewed him as a potential long term successor to Kane then we could have just landed a serious talent. No pressure wor kid. #NUFC

IS IT HAPPENING

As desperate as we are for a striker I think we need to walk away from the Wissa deal after how he’s gone on. We can’t as a club or fan base be outraged at Isak’s behaviour and then welcome Wissa with open arms when he’s doing the same thing .#nufc

All things considered I’d have taken a point away to Villa on opening day, but can’t help feeling a bit frustrated after that. We all know what issues need solving so hopefully this Wissa transfer happens next week. Decent first outing for Elanga too. #nufc

Slightly conflicting reports from Douglas and Hope regarding Jackson. One saying we are ready to move with the other saying other targets will be pursued first. Think personally I prefer the idea of Strand Larsen and one of Wissa/Watkins. #nufc

Take me back 🥲
Mbeumo, Guehi & Delap are all realistic targets, now actively being pursued. As individual signings they'd improve us massively but if we pull off all 3 it's an absolutle game changer. #NUFC

If Sesko goes to Man United then the club need to tell Isak he isn’t going anywhere and get back to strengthening the rest of the team. We can’t decide where other players choose to go, but we absolutely can decide what happens with our own and he can’t leave without an adequate replacement. #nufc

The Premier League has changed. There isn’t really the ‘Big 6’ anymore. We now have a ‘Top 4’, whose spending power and influence is just a million miles away from everybody else. This window in particular feels like Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea & Arsenal have widened the gap massively.

If it means Isak stays then Wissa would be an excellent signing and makes perfect sense for me. He’s proven in the league, fits our style of play and can cover out wide if needed. I don’t see how anyone could put a bad spin on that. #nufc

Israeli flag and ‘stop the boats’…an absolute embarrassment from our fans in Glasgow yesterday. What a wonderful way to start pre season. #nufc

The 24/25 season was historic for #NUFC. Howe turned a rough summer into our first major domestic 🏆 in 70 years—and UCL qualification.

But success brings expectation. With PSR easing & more games in 25/26, fans & Howe expect investment.

But who to buy? Welcome to my third annual Summer Transfer 🧵

That was fucking awful but job done. Now go and sign Mbeumo whatever the cost. #NUFC

Newcastle United are losers no longer: at last, they are something else
On March 16 2025, Newcastle rocked up at Wembley and brought the noise. The foundations shook as they ended 70-year domestic trophy drought

With results this weekend I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that if we want to remain in the conversation for Europe next season, tomorrow is pretty much a must win game now. Need to forget about the final for 90 minutes and just play the game infront of us. #NUFC

I feel like I live in an alternate reality at times, especially to a lot of our supposed special friends across the pond.... If Russia wants the war to end then they literally just have to turn around and go home, it's that fucking simple.

And I'd be appealing that red card all day long. #NUFC

I just can't comprehend this Newcastle team. We are either unplayable or look like we won a competition to take part. Zero investment for so long showing once again. Frustrating, same old shite, can't be arsed. #NUFC

After yesterday's results, win today and Champions League is firmly back in our control... If the players can't get up for a game like this, at home and after last week's shambles, then I don't know what more you can do. Have to go it for from the off. Comprehensive win incoming. #NUFC

Man City away is never going to be easy and our record at the Etihad is shocking but the players have to be up for this today... Never been a better time to get a result down there and gets us straight back into the top 4. #NUFC
