In prep for the new soulblight spearhead releasing today, I wanted to practice painting the Wight King.
I'll probably paint the cloak differently when I got the box, but for a ~4 hr paint session, I thought I did pretty well!

Started on my Breyherd shaman last night. Experimenting more w/ John Blanche's Armypainter sets. The Darkness makes for a fantastic shadow. I didn't realize how green the voodoo shade was until I washed it over the ivory. It worked out better than expected but will need to do some cleaner blending

Insidious Infiltrators Combat patrol is complete!
It'll need some ferns or something for the bases but they're all ready to hit the field.

Evening of glazing, layering and highlights.
Smoothed out some heavy handed/chunky highlights. I wanted something a little more blended. Touched up the ribs (absolute pain) and painted the fleshy joints.
Tomorrow, I'm hoping to finish the carapace, claws and hooves.

Smoothed out some heavy handed/chunky highlights. I wanted something a little more blended. Touched up the ribs (absolute pain) and painted the fleshy joints.
