As a Punk Uncle, I just did my duty buying my 3 year old twin nephews their first pair of Doc Martens for Christmas. Thankful for them, and all of the family and loved ones that have made life not only worth sticking around for but actively enjoyable

I feel like this boils down to presenting a product for adults that doesn't insult your intelligence. At its best, this is what AEW has done, including this past Wednesday. At its worst, it apes and imitates the tropes that made/make so many of us embarrassed to be into pro wrestling.
"Don't just cater to the sickos" is the new lingo for "You need to draw in the casuals" but more explicit in its disdain for wrestling fans. 🤼
Alot of the older wwe/wcw/tna guys push for aew to "stop catering to the sickos and bring in new fans". In my opinion AEW has survived and thrived because they have a loyal fanbase they cater to. Push away the loyal fans and what do you have? Wcw 00 and tna post 2009. #Aew
