🧵: Those pushing these economic/green agendas for Indigenous peoples *without* a rights framework (either deliberately or not — and some are deliberate) are arguing a losing case for most mob. The only people who win there are those already winning. That changes nothing.

🧵: I’ve been in the US since Nov, meeting many Indigenous nations. Property, legal, and political RIGHTS are CENTRAL to their economic agendas. Otherwise all we get is fancy Indigenous businesses taking all the cash, none of it going where it needs to — aka what we have now!
