this guy uses simple effects to get many different sounds from a Casio keyboard — pretty big ones too. this is not a widely used technique.

i have a new synth that is basically done. i want to add more wavetables, and i want to improve the sliders, but it's basically done. i don't really have an angle though. it makes hard bass, rough leads, rich pads...it's just a synth with some breakpoint LFOs that i like.

i kind of think that AI is going to lead to a resurgence in web tech, just because it’s so easy for the AI to conjure these things and show them to you, on the fly.

there isn’t a free calorie counter app i can find for iPhone. so stupid. im gonna make a really simple one and just give it away. just input calories, keep a running total, maybe show me a graph.

Snake in the Monkeys Shadow — this was pretty good. there’s a scene where a student and master are fighting over tea cups, that really rocks. fight scenes have great rhythm. ive seen better, and worse. 7/10
