My grandfather was an engineer and worked on the Manhattan Project in some way. Details are few because of secrecy and because he died in 1969 when my mother was 16.
She says he never really spoke about it but did tell her that there are some things you're not proud of.
I find that fascinating.

Every time I see someone from my parent's generation post something like this:
"I HEREBY DECLARE THAT I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO FACEBOOK OR META TO USE ANY OF MY PERSONAL DATA."
... which happens more than you might expect, I always, always (always) think of this scene:

Really interesting thread.
I initially didn't like Dipshit Derek. Was too overt and kinda annoying.

Action starts pretty quick but it's preceeded by a good bit of exposition. Allusions to the 80s feel less clever, sets sometimes feel super fake, plans are wonky and timelines and distance make no sense.
But I'm happy to be back in the world and honestly had fun.

I remain convinced that if Bethesda had invested in Starfield post-launch and tried to fix the balance to make it more interesting that it could have turned into a true franchise instead of something they hide from.
