Gonna spend this month doing a new 3d model every day. Alas, I think ive already peaked. #gamedev
We've released a playable prototype of our 4x strategy game. If you like the idea of a post apocalyptic civ, and dont mind a lack of polish, give it a try.

How buggy can an alpha build of a game be? asking for a friend.

Spent an entire day going back over the games UI. I think having to fiddle with UI is an underappreciated circle of Hell.

thanks, we've been trying to achieve a style simular to the pre rendered graphics of 90s strategy games and the og fallouts.
Thanks to everyone who gave city name suggestions the other week. It's much appreciated. We've been working on giving cities borders and getting the ai to play the game better. To, mixed results.

finished 4th in the Historically accurate game jam with our Viking game Blood Axe. Wish I had more time to add a few more levels and the fishing mini game easter egg I built. Still, I think it's pretty fun.

finally got around to making the ai attack each other. It works, but i set the values of weapons to be too weak, so they fought each other forever until they eventually starved to death. GREAT SUCCESS!

I've been working on a 4x game with a pal. It's fallout and civilization set in a post apocalyptic UK. The temporary names we've been using are Fallciv or Threads, the video game. The game should hopefully be finished sometime before the real apocalypse.

This is the first time ive worked with someone who really knows what they’re doing music wise. Honestly, the games worth a try just for the soundtrack.
I was part of a team that made a game for Historically Accurate Game Jam 11. We aimed to create a melee only Hotline Miami style game.… with Vikings.

I ended the world trying to support Peruvian guerillas, 10/10, the only acceptable reason to start a nuclear war
I've been playing the Alone in the dark remake, this game doesn't ask for much...
A friend pointed out that “find shelter before the bomb hits” is already a game. I’ve since played *60 Seconds!* and it’s great. I think my game, *Four Minutes*, is different enough—it’s more depressing for a start, with it being set in the UK and all.
Four minutes being the estimated time between a warning and a bomb being dropped.
I’ve been thinking about nuclear war a lot recently, for… reasons. Anyway, here’s a short game I made for the current Godot Wild Jam—it’s about finding shelter within four minutes.

and a revolutionary new thing called, telling the player how likely their action is to succeed.
We added some features we intended to do during the jam, but time being the way it is. Introducing crawling.
We came 17th outa 30 for the indy game clinic colab jam. kinda suprise we got that high considering how many bugs we had.

On that note, we took all the responses we got for our game and made a far less janky build.

Also, if you add all the possible name+location combos together we technically have 5 million characters. If more quantity == more better, the games at least a 9/10
I think a lot of the visual design turned out well. We created some cool effects for the machine gun post, and this is the first time I made a 'dynamic' soundscape for a game.
