Rate changes (up or down) aren’t in of themselves bad, but just aim to achieve a policy goal—-the key tradeoff being growth v. inflation.

That said, the Trump admin has been actively pressuring the Fed to cut rates to boost growth. You could say they’re an interested party.

Do you have strong opinions RE prose versus rhyming translations?

I just read Fagle’s Iliad and I couldn’t help but think how it’d be so much more engaging in a rhyming version, more like the context of how it used to be told.
