San Francisco had this awesome giant brutalist public fountain at Embarcadero Plaza. Here’s a photo of me there in the early 90s. In recent years the city let it fall into disrepair and is now committed to destroying it. Kind of sad.

Random letter of recommendation but somebody gave my son this solar-powered spinning prism suction cup thing for his birthday a couple years ago, and it transforms our living room with a magical rainbow light show whenever the sun peaks out.
