the way my energy bill has doubled each month from the previous year even though my energy usage is down. This is a recurring theme today. While I was grabbing beer(s) off the Western Blue Line stop (northern) around 5:30 today, I heard horns honking and whistles blowing. Looked up to see bikes and cars chasing what I assume were feds west, people shouting "La Migra!" as they passed.
Just witnessed Chicagoans following this undercover ICE vehicle (Black pick-up truck) heading south on Ashland honking their horns incessantly and alerting everyone that ICE was coming.

Tear gassed a street in Logan Square that has a grocery store & elementary school on it, among other things

Federal agents are overtly abusing their power to try to intimidate advocates and elected officials. We need ICE out of Illinois immediately and justice for people like Ald. Jessie Fuentes who are defending their communities.

In another incident caught on video Friday, federal agents inside a car randomly threw tear gas into a Logan Square street while people — including a 2-year-old — were outside nearby.
