I feel the same way about the polling here. "He's only at 46%, he should be at 52!" Ok, his closest competitor is at 30%. I think things are OK.

Honestly I feel like there's a general trend toward overblowing a drop lately. A Company where I'm at saw their stock drop by ~20% recently because they're underperforming compared to last year
It was a 4% drop in revenue, and the "this time last year" is the best quarter that company has ever had.

No, the meaning of OPs post is pretty clear. "That's unamerican" is not a useful or true phrase when you see an abuse of power, especially in relation to minorities. "We demand better than this" is both useful and true.
