According to HMPS, the govt only runs 105 of 122 prisons.
Numbers for ‘released in error’ include misplaced warrants for imprisonment or remand, recall notices not acted upon, sentence miscalculation or discharging the wrong person on escort. It’s always happened but this is the latest explanation

I’ve been busily digging up the corner plot I planted last year 😩. Sad but necessary, to make way for our solar batteries. I’ve managed to save the plants to pots while the work is done, then I shall review.

Lovely little haul of organic fruit and veg from the allotment. And I was delighted by how much I was able to do myself now my shoulder is moving better. I’m a very happy bunny!

I love the bones of this dog, but she keeps us on our toes! Escapologist, routine-driven, food-*obsessed*, terrified by a noise that led to about 18-mos of behavioural stuff, almost died on us… But she is funny, friendly, determined, and absolutely my dog. And there was that dance…

Sherlock has a favourite toy at Granny’s house. He can smell that it’s in this wicker box, but can’t work out that he needs to dig down from the top, I now feel quite sorry for him and am stepping in to help ❤️
