I've always found gaff taxidermy to be very macabre. It's interesting how light-hearted we are about, say, sewing an animal's eyes and teeth to another one's anus and calling it a mythical creature as a joke. Can you imagine if we did that to humans?

Finally finished Alien Earth, and I enjoyed it. I liked the theme of being rapidly aged by a cruel world, of putting the weight of that world on a child's shoulders yet refusing to treat them like an adult. Some gnarly creature action. A few bangers during the credits, too.
