Game of Wool on Channel 4 is an absolute trainwreck. Nobody is having fun on the show, including the frontrunner. They are given half the time they need to rush through a project, let alone make something good. Tom Daly bopping around like a ragdoll trying to boost morale like a fiber arts Jigsaw.

With the band After, I'm just so deeply curious how much of their schtick is satire. To say that it's uncanny would be to betray just how well done the simulacrum is. They avoid the trap of nostalgic simplification/reductive affectation. How much of it is moodboard vs instinct vs trend cycle?
