What’s the worst question someone can ask after you tell them your profession? For linguists, it’s definitely “how many languages do you speak?”, but I’m curious what else is happening to the rest of y’all out there?!

I’m now 60 and started work post-Uni in 1987 - my first jobs were in the very early 1980s. I’m a former HRD and long-standing executive coach. As such I have worked with so many leaders, in many organisations, and have been around the block many times.

Excellent and courageous investigative journalism.
The fact that it is (apparently) legal to do this to people is utterly disgusting.
“It broke my heart, that was my savings towards a new car,” one woman who paid Milne tens of thousands of pounds told us. “He has just wiped me out.”

Who is Andrew Milne - the solicitor sending "very aggressive" letters to Sheffield homeowners?

We need to smash this untruth shared by Nick Robinson on #r4today, and by his mates in the Tory/Reform party, that working people will be funding people who do not work with the lifting of the benefit cap.

They are very often the same people. 60% of beneficiaries are IN WORK and many others ...
