The Danish PM was in Nuuk today to formally apologise to the Inuit women of Greenland who Danish doctors inserted contraceptive coils into without their consent or knowledge.

I met one of the victims, Arnaq, in Greenland earlier this month, and put together her story for @news.dw.com

NEW: The Vatican has just released this photo of the Pope, the first we are seeing of him since his hospitalisation.

It's from behind, but he's sat upright in a wheelchair and doesn't appear to have any ventilation apparatus attached.

The photo is taken in the chapel of Gemilli Hospital in Rome.

VATICAN: Pope has a respiratory crisis this afternoon (28/2/2025) but he is now doing alright and has managed to recover.

They say he choked on his own vomit.

Doctors will take 24-48 hours to assess the situation.

ROME: The Vatican says the Pope’s condition remains “critical” but that he has not presented any further respiratory crises since yesterday.

He did join a mass in hospital but remains on oxygen through his nose.

The #pope continues to be “alert and well oriented”.

Thousands of people attended the funeral of 19 year old Souleymane Sow today in Brussels.

He was shot and killed at Clemenceau metro station in what has become a series of attacks there.

Speaking to press earlier, reps from his family insisted he wasn't connected to any gangs.

A spokesperson for the family of Souleymane Sow, a 19 year old shot at Clémenceau metro station in Brussels, insists he was not himself connected to any gangs.

His funeral is taking place in Anderlecht today.

Details of the police investigation remain vague.
