Rearmed never quite won me over because so much of it felt aped from the NES game, but it is probably objectively the best for most people. I never did get around to the multiplayer now that I think about it

I remember this scene so damn. The little touches to the camera movements. Folks act like Zelda only recently got "cinematic" or whatever, but man... look at the effort put into this silliness and timing it with the music. Love this game.

Oh really? I started it last night and it felt tight as hell to me, if a bit uhhhhh crazy hard lol. I especially like how the different difficulties actually change the enemy patterns and such though. Really wish more games would do that rather than just +30 health -10 damage.
