This is rather like me saying I’m in “the final stretch” of my plan to become an Olympic 100m champion. I’ve got some new trainers and a nice t-shirt. I only need to do the last bit where I run 100m in 10 seconds. Everything else is sorted.
Keith Kellogg, Trump’s so-called envoy on Ukraine, says talks are “in the final stretch,” but admits the hardest part remains. Control over Donetsk, Luhansk, parts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, and the future of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant are still unresolved.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices ended hepatitis B vaccination for all infants at birth.

In spite of proven results.

Delaying the birth dose of hepatitis B vaccine will lead to more children and adults developing preventable liver disease and liver cancer, with zero benefit.

People are leaving in droves"

Corrections officers are jumping ship for more lucrative jobs at ICE, which offers $50,000 starting bonuses, tuition reimbursement & better pay than the prison system

As Federal Prisons Run Low on Food and Toilet Paper, Corrections Officers Leave in Droves for ICE
Many of the problems the agency is facing now are not new, but staff and prisoners fear an exodus of officers could make life behind bars even worse.

After 99 years, Michigan clockmaker Howard Miller is shutting down. The culprit: Trump's tariffs.

"If the federal government had said, ‘Oh, it's a 10% tariff, constant,' … they might've worked things out," an employee said. "But no. It's just chaos."

Before the fashion world was ready to credit a Black woman’s talent, Lowe was already designing for America’s most powerful families. Brilliant. Bold. Innovative. Undervalued. And nearly erased from history.

Finding hope in nudity…

It might seem funny.

But Trump tried to paint these protests as full of violent agitators.

And instead they showed up in horrible weather conditions, no clothes and sporting only smiles, ready for a bike ride of protest and joy.

The contrast can be inspiring.

Trump hoodwinked his voters and he’s still trying to do it today…

2024: he dropped a campaign video titled “Make America Affordable Again” on day one.

2025: he hasn’t done squat to bring costs down, prices are climbing, and suddenly “affordability is a Democrat scam” because he’s panicking.

Zaghari-Ratcliffe made clothes for her daughter while waiting for her eventual release. Now, the idea of creativity as a form of resistance is the theme of a new collaboration between London’s Imperial War Museum and the fabric department of Liberty.
