I've 100% completed the game and I honestly don't think I ever got a good feel for when to dodge or parry some of the enemies. What helped me when getting through fights that I just wasn't having click would be to heavily spec into defense and hp and not worry about the d/p mechanics as much.

I think the most surprising things I've learned through this falling out are that Adam Roethlisberger (A large part of why Suffer & Become slapped) is now in Nile and that Keith Merrow had left Nightmarer before making the move to join (and then leave) Vitriol.
