So the core of it is:
tiny ceramic well pallet - only recently added a second 'cos I love it
Good lamp
Teeny tray of the alphas from instar paint and teeny bottle of water plus
Water pots
Pokey tool
Also needs paper towel and brushes I keep in a jar to one side.

Good progress so far but I think I might be done for the evening. My fingers and arms aren't used to this and I was tired before I started. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Not sure how much further I'll tinker but some for sure. Gonna have a cool pirate skirmish force eventually.

Did some painting this evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. Might not have made it in time for orctober or the pirate themed quarterly challenge I started him for but ain't no deadline on enjoying. Nearly done with base colours.

Love my 3up skele from @heresyminiatures.com and his pals. Still not played necropolis28 but now I have the means!

Late night painting session after a day that otherwise was trying really hard to end rather unpleasantly - youngest has a tummy bug of some sort and this is not day one so we're all rather frayed at the edges as it seems to peak in the small hours.

Finally spent some time on the hellmite colours. Pretty close to calling this done but still a few bits I want to spot more attention on.

Bit spotty on the hobby front lately but got some lovely brush time today. This chap now has at least a colour everywhere and some shading and highlighting started to vary extents in some places. And honestly I could probably end it three as good enough for what he's destined for. Not gonna though.

Not going to claim I've done an amazing job or anything but that looks pretty convincing to me. I might try to tidy the shapes up a bit but "rustic charm" seems like a fitting style for wartnose jousting from swamp goblins.

I'd like more hobby time but since I got time this evening to super optimistic amateur style poke putty around it ain't all bad. Saddle (hopefully) for custom wartnose jouster.

I'm enjoying this conversion malarkey. Going well so far I think. Guess I'll find out when I start trying to paint it up but the base is nearly assembled. The rider has his everything in place. Need to worry about some sort of saddle/harness contraption. And getting it all together.

I'm being all daring at present and working on a conversion. Its not the same as getting new shines yourself but maybe seeing some old metal getting new love helps a little.

Eager to see if I can pull off sculpting some ears, a neck and some sort of shirt and a saddle.

I have hobbied having had a "great" idea. The halfling blood bowl fellas have been with me since I was probably not even a teen and definitely didn't know how to spray prime. Finally one of the halfling sculpts is getting some love. By means of being turned into a goblin. Lots to do before paint.
