My younger sis also didn’t get paid but had to also work. The GOP/MAGA isn’t pro America. Not when they have done nothing except pass the terrible bill. Next on list is not extending tax cuts for ACA which will cause thousands to lose healthcare. Tell me again how this is making US great?

My niece stopped by to visit. She works in DC and yes even though she worked during shutdown she wasn’t paid. Yes, it was hard. Yes, she called her reps letting them know the shutdown personally affected her.

But then again I’ve personally had similar experiences where I’d call out someone for a wrong and that male would lash back and call me stupid or other bad things. Those around me would be silent. What’s interesting is most of the silent ones were…men.

I wish someone would have the courage to tell 47 what we really think of him. So far only women reporters question him and the men around them are silent.
