Turns out said patient had rocked up an hour late to their appt. The phleb kindly said she’d squeeze them in, but they’d have to wait as she had other patients to see first. Fancy getting shirty when you were already a WHOLE HOUR late 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Pt (sternly) - “I’ve been waiting 20 mins!”
Me - “Have you? What for?”
Pt - “A blood test”
Me - “Okay. That’ll be with the phlebotomist in the corner room”
