Short answer: it's complicated. One unified spec and freedom from Windows will solve a lot of the headaches currently associated with running events on PC, but not all. Hot swapping controllers is still finicky and needs to be addressed on a per-game basis, and input lag is a big ugly question mark.

Like if I do an opener and immediately counter break without pressing anything else, and it works, I think you should get the KI equivalent of GRD break. All two-button-strength combinations cease to work for 15 seconds. No breaks, no throws, no shadow counter, no instinct pop. Eat shit and die.
