Same! I mostly just want solidarity. Disability justice, the neurodiversity paradigm, accessibility, etc. are meant to benefit everyone even non-disabled, neurotypical folks. However, it's messed up to take something useful from a movement and then either ignore them or straight up harm them

Only semi-related, but recently I've heard people use "Nothing about us without us" in other contexts without acknowledging it as historically being the slogan of disability rights/justice while also not fighting ableism in the work they are doing or even worse actively engaging in ableism

I enjoyed it so thoroughly! I'm excited to rewatch it on Netflix. There was only two theaters within 50 miles playing it, and my showing on Saturday was soldout (as was every showing for the rest of the day). Everyone in the theater was just enjoying themselves & clapped when the end credits started
