this is the correct answer—i would *not* trust a negative but i would trust a positive, especially if you test like this. worth taking multiple RATs over consecutive days or finding a molecular test to feel more certain of a negative!
Throat-Cheek-Nose Swab info from Newlevant COVID Zine and Ontario Health Canada Improve test accuracy by collecting a combinec nose and throat sample!" 1. Do not eat, smoke or drink anything 30 minutes before taking a rapid antigen test. 2. Blow your nose first and cough. Disinfect hands (wash or sanitizer) 3. Insert swab to the inner cheek, turn and/or swab a few times or 4. Softly rub the swab as far back in your throat as you feel comfortable. 5. Tilt head back and fully insert the soft swab tip straight back (not up) into your nose until you hit resistance (up to 2.5 cm). Rotate swab several times against the wall then of the nose and let sit for a few seconds to absorb nasal secretions. Do this for both nostrils. 6. Follow your RAT instructions to process the sample and read results Try not to move the cassette. Read results promptly in bright light - sometimes a positive test will show up in very faint lines. If you're in the US, submit your results to MakeMyTestCount.org. *Do not use this method with Intelliswab RATs, it will produce false positives

i was inclined to find the abstract less “questionable” than beatrice lanz, who was studying the young artists, but that was her read—it wasn’t just about the content (too much detail, emotion=more questionable) but also the muscle control used to produce it, thus the train was most normal. #HSS2025

This guidance was developed in 2020 when the pandemic was in a different phase without effective vaccines and treatments. At Delta, over 90% of our workforce are fully vaccinated, and those rates are increasing daily. Our employees represent an essential workforce to enable Americans who need to travel domestically and internationally. With the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, the 10-day isolation for those who are fully vaccinated may significantly impact our workforce and operations. Similar to healthcare, police, fire, and public transportation workforces, the Omicron surge may exacerbate shortages and create significant disruptions. Further, all airline personnel are required to mask at airports and on airplanes. Current data suggest that Omicron is 25-50% more contagious, and likely less virulent and associated with more mild disease particularly among individuals who are fully vaccinated.
