I feel like elected officials using their platform to flat out lie and spread false information should be charged with some sort of crime.

What are your thoughts on Pete? I still think he is a real contender... he brings people to the table and has honest conversations about the issues they care about while pointing out the flaws of their arguments and laying out the facts in a non-threatening/non-condescending way... and they listen.

Yep, this is one thing that I just can't wrap my head around. All optics, saying what they think they "should" say. What's more troubling is all the people that believe them and regurgitate it.
