This is such a great way to reframe being unable to participate in protests.
You’re not “lazy”. You don’t need to “try harder”
If attending the event is unsafe for you, then those who are protesting are fighting FOR you.
Those of us who can’t attend in person will fight in other ways.

I watched a reel about safety at protests the other day that made the point, "If it is unsafe for you to attend, you are who it is for. Rest. Put your energy elsewhere. Be safe."
