It’s jealousy. The Leafs played hardball with Marner and never supported him while supporting the floating Capt Underpants. They had contract issues and cap hell while the Habs have 5 studs locked up for 8 years all under $9M. Of course they’re salty lol.

You have to think anyone who Marty can work with will get better. Marty doesn’t give up. Zero ego and has done it all. 4th line to top line. I think that’s why everyone loves Marty. He understands the guys.

Doves has looked terrific. We never really could trust Primeau but Dobes is certainly an upgrade. No unrealistic expectations but this team sure is fun to watch!

Excellent piece as always. These players are so young and the league moves so fast. I keep saying we are so lucky to have Marty coaching these guys with no ego. I do wonder what starting in Laval would have done for his game?
