I’m in the middle of a project of rereading all Eliot’s novels: I finished Adam Bede, Mill on the floss, Silas, Marner, and Romona. Just starting Felix Holt. Eliot can be a tough hang, but when I’m done, I’m always glad I persisted.

I'm a hardcore introvert, from a family of introverts. We all thrived during Covid! The woman who made herself more extroverted did not talk about the personal cost: I can certainly get out there more, and do, but I need a 2 hour nap after every encounter.
