I’m just being my natural myself. I live in the D.C. area. I'm gay, partnered, and have varied interests, some of which I’ll share here. Nudity is a perfectly normal thing; we were born this way and shouldn't be ashamed of our human bodies.

My first naturist experience was when I was a kid. My father took me camping for a weekend and we went hiking. He knew of a place that was clothing optional so he encouraged me to join him on a naked hike. I did and was hooked on the natural feeling of the air on my skin.
My first naturist experience was during the WNBR.
I was nervous at first, but the moment I joined the ride and felt the freedom on my skin, everything changed.
It taught me that the body isn’t something to hide — it’s something to live in.
Now I’m curious…

You know, people can be offended by literally anything. If you can’t do something because it offends someone, then you have no freedom at all that can’t be taken away at someone else’s whim. Being naked should be a human right, and if it offends you, that’s tough titty.

Hopefully more countries (and, in the U.S., states and cities) will become more enlightened to #normalizenudity.
As a naturism advocate, I’ve learned that it’s not just about speaking up for the body, it’s about understanding the laws that protect it.
Every country has its own rules, and knowing them is key to growing this movement with strength and respect.

By covering up, we only fuel the fire of objectification. The path to a sane and healthy view of the body isn’t through “modesty,” but through normalising nudity. It’s just a body, we all have one, and it shouldn’t be some great taboo to see someone else’s. (2/2)
