GDScript is my favourite language, but I’m having to do some work in C# and I get the hype. Definitely one to add to my toolbelt

Also it’s so nice after doing some work in Java, C# but bad

I haven’t seen any gaming people talk about this in any tone other than ecstatic and I fully agree

Still insane what they did with three descending notes on a piano and a distressed violin sounding thing, perfectly sets up the tone of The Social Network

This is the aesthetic I associate with old textbooks in my high school lol

Is that Fira Code? And if so, how do you plan to defend your taste in fonts

Three Siobhan Thompsons except they’ve been separated out into their individual RGB components

Valve making Linux run so smoothly for games has made it seem so much more appealing to most people and we might finally start approaching the year of not the windows desktop

(it's never gonna be the year of the Linux desktop, no matter how hard we hope, sadly...)

I’ve been using Godot since 3.2, and GDScript is now just genuinely my favourite language to work with. So nice to use

Hi! I’m a programmer who doesn’t use any gen AI. It’s useless and annoying for 99% of everything I want to do and I refuse to use it for the last 1%

Change it! Reject Bluesky’s imitation of Twitter’s verification and use the fact that your address is your website to act as verification instead!

Even though out of all people you’re probably among those who most need the protection of verification…

Nonetheless! Reject it! Embrace old internet!

(Fascinate (a woman (with a gunpla kit))
or
(Fascinate a woman (with a gunpla kit))?

Don’t know, either way I trust this appeals to the people it’s targeted to

Superhero character except they're REALLY obsessed with Powerscaling and everyone around them finds it annoying as fuck

Solution: start posting on Reddit yourself so it isn’t just reposts of your posts

You could probably become a r/196 microceleb or something if you wanted

Granted, this would also mean you’d be using Reddit regularly, which most people consider deeply unpleasant

I’ve been struggling to read books for the past several years. Despite this, I have read a great many pieces of internet fiction which each approach a million words, or are otherwise long SCPs

Funny how the brain works

NDAs should only cover the contents of unreleased projects, and then literally nothing else. They should only exist as a way to enforce the already generally accepted rule of “hey don’t spoil the surprise”

NDAs are fucking stupid
