Inkscape has snapping. You may need to turn it on. It's the magnet icon in the top right (in 1.4.2)

Please, please, please report these issues! If they don't get reported, the devs may never know they exist, so they'll never get fixed. If they have been reported, add any info you can and upvote the issue to make it clearer others are affected

Without knowing more info, there's not much we can help with, but I'd expect some blur because you're exporting to a different format. Inkscape's not going to be pixel perfect because that's not its purpose.

You can make a feature request for preview in place at inkscape.org/report it's the same process as reporting a bug. inkscape.org/contribute/r... (scroll to the bottom)

I know I've mentioned this before, but Inkscape's font browser is really top flight. This makes me not feel the need to install some other kind of manager. It's got user collections. It shows a preview. It's not a dropdown menu, but an actual stable chunk of UI.

Would like a preview in place.
