A friend of mine had Dr. Van Fleet. It was very hardy. I was able to find it at a grower in California who grew heirloom roses. I grew it on a trellis but I sold the house six years ago. I want to try New Dawn.

On this Mother’s Day, my heart goes out to all mothers and families who have sons and daughters captured and imprisoned by Trump’s administration. Our Constitution protects all people living in the U.S.. Those responsible will regret this cruelty.

So sorry for your loss of Sam. We lost our Skylar (a blue-point Siamese with blue eyes) a few years ago who looked much like Sam. Hopefully, a little of Sam's spirit will be in your next cat.
