#JuicyJuly 2 & 3 - “Envelope/Mouth”
Tried to do two in one! This was kind of a weird one to try to structure right but once again I like the little sliver of a concept I came up with! Writing is very fun :)

The mistress finishes writing the last of her letters penned in her signature vibrant blue ink, the fireplace and accompanying candlelight in an otherwise gloomy Victorian study illuminating both her handy work as well as the bright violet hue that proudly enraptures her entire full figure. As she occasionally glances at you, her eyes give a distinct shimmer of blue, like catching a quick glimpse of moonlight clashing onto a dark ocean wave.

She delicately folds each piece of paper into thirds and puts one into each preaddressed envelope. Chuckling subtly, she grabs each one and prepares to seal them as she guides her tongue across the edges of the paper, her careful licks sealing each letter with that distinctive blueberry purple that she has now become so accustomed to.

“The one final touch…” she remarks as she grabs the dark blue candle from beside her on the dinner table, making sure to delicately pour a small circular puddle of rich mauve melted wax on the center of each letter’s opening. “I know it’s a tad excessive to essentially seal these letters twice, but you know I can never be too careful!” The wax dries almost instantly, and as she lays the letters into a neat stack in her hands, she brings her gaze back to you from across the room.

“Please, have these sent out right away, I very much hope all of my guests have a tremendous night at my manor soon. It’ll surly be quite an all around thrilling experience by the time the festivities have concluded.”

“Yes Madam.” You sternly say as you grab the invitations and prepare them to be sent out for a night that, knowing her, will absolutely be quite an *explosive* one.

She gives one more hearty chuckle to herself as you leave…

"I know it feels really weird, but I will
*assure* you everyone will be careful, they're not gonna bump your head anywhere like they did with me, I'll have sure of it." They let out a tiny laugh, and you give a small comforted smile. "And the juicing, it feels... very unusual but swear it doesn't hurt." They grab your hand while there is still time to before both of them sink into the divots forming around them.
"Once you're able to walk again talk to me again, I'll be there for you as long as you need."

You give a shaky nod yes as you feel yourself become rounder and rounder. You lose sight of them as you rise up into a full sphere shape over twice your original height. You are ready to be rolled away, keeping your eyes shut tight as you breathe deep breaths and wait for the loud churning sounds wrapping around your sunken ears to go away. You hope as you are being pushed by the workers that they will act as quickly as before, and as you briefly peek to see who is rolling you, as your head is about to go to the ground, you see in your upside down field of vision your fellow purple coworker again as they are pushing you, they flash you a brief smile. They know you will be ok, and you do to...
Maybe the third time will be the charm?
Hopefully they'll get the gum right in the end, but after today you are now unfortunately a major part of the early history of what would be a rather fickle chewing gum experiment.

#JuicyJuly 1 - “Second”
My first little POV short story for Juicy July, rushed it a lot and wasn’t able to proofread it in time as much as I would’ve liked to but I like the concept so much I may revisit it as a longer story one day :)

"Second"
As your body appears to have fully completed turning into the eerily familiar shade of blue, you knew two things, that the gum still needed work, and you should have probably mentally prepared for this to happen the moment you lost drawing straws to be the next subject for this now seemingly cursed three course gum project.
You hoped it would just be the color change this time around, and at least some progress was made in the other errors of the dessert category, but that sense of fullness you've been feeling is still growing on you more and more, making it clear to you that sadly, you weren't getting off easier than the previous guinea pig. You thought you did everything right on your end when helping to develop this gum, but there is just something that is still not set right with the blueberry pie.

A crowd of morbidly curious workers stare at you intently, standing all around waiting for you to finally be at rolling size, with some still in shock that it was happening once again, some backing away in fear that it will somehow be a worse outcome this time, and some seemingly almost annoyed that they will have to trek another blueberry over to Juicing Machine #17 (which was at the moment still being decontaminated after the last incident, but after this will now likely be the default machine to use if incidents like this keep reoccurring).
You step side to side in a haze, almost hyperventilating from the surreal feeling of what you saw several weeks ago now happening to you. Questions of what will happen to you running miles around your mind.

A familiar individual makes their way out of the crowd to run towards you. The shade of blue they shared with you making it almost like you were a living funhouse mirror mocking the proportions that they had before you. "Hey. Hey!" You can hear them but out of some combination of awe and embarrassment you could only look down at your widening from. "Don't worry, ok? You'll be fine I promise." You look up at them and look into their dark blue eyes, which will almost definitely be yours if they haven't become so already. "I know you're scared right now, I was absolutely terrified, but I will be right by you this entire time, ok? You are not here, I know this feeling you are having." You continue to stare, unsure on what to say and if you could even say anything. You lose your balance and are now stuck in an awkward sitting position, being too big to stand back up, still trying to lock eyes with the coworker trying to help you, who you will now likely be forever bonded with in your shared distressing situation.
