After I posted that at 3:49 I realized we'd hung too long at the summit. A two hour return trip, like All Trails said, would be at 5:49, so it's the third hike in row we had to bust ass---👩🔬:😠---there was this sunset about a half mile out, and arriving at the car at 5:03 it looked like this.

After five miles, we leaving the top, after scrambling around for views. The tallest are still ahead, so we're on a forecrag.

At 4.2 miles, the top is so close I can taste the weed edible I'll eat there---👩🔬:why not now?---👩🤗👩🔬---stopped.at a nice break spot after a long climb.4

At 2.8 miles, after a 0.2 mile side trip, to Indian Springs---👩🔬; you said no side trips this time!-Holly feels dumb for hauling so much water along, with it gushing out of the mountain!

After a 1/2 mile, easy roundtrip to the viewpoint, we're ready to embark on the 2.6 mile hike to "Castle Done", and for people doing viewpoints, just remove trees in the way!

At 4.8 miles, we're back where we branched off to the Vista Point, and after regaining about 500 feet. The signs say, "2 miles to the top", and "1.7 miles to the 🅿️, and 👩🔬, who do that math, says, 👩🔬😩:5.7 miles left!

It also has a view of Mt. Shasta.
