Ozy & Millie is the most adorable, endearing comic in all of human history and I loved it so much that I wore my O&M tee shirts until they were literally falling apart (see here!).

I had made a comic a while back discussing Dana Simpson @danacorn.bsky.social , the author of Ozy and Mille (and Phoebe and Her Unicorn, which I still need to read!!), and how she was a major influence on me growing up, both as an artist and as a queer kid.

Ok so… as far as I’m aware, kidney stones aren’t like super uncommon. The very idea that folks get these with *any* amount of regularity is terrifying. This was one of the worst pains I ever felt in my life, sustained over hours and hours, while also causing severe nausea…

As it turns out, the insurance company doesn’t really care if *I’m* sure, so they need a bunch of other doctors to tell them that I’m sure.

Ok so, it’s no great secret that the process for getting bottom surgery is long, convoluted, and involves a myriad of documentation telling the insurance company that I am indeed sure about what I want.

Our boy, formerly the “fake trans ally” is back and has a name! I like to think that Jack has the potential to be the ally he already imagines he is, so it feels appropriate to give him the space to grow.
