After spending the night on the cove, the large group of geese always leave in small groups. They meet up in the air and create their V formation There may be several flocks at times and sometimes it’s gets territorial with them squawking during the night. @mamady.bsky.social

#FeatheredFriday taken a couple of days ago before the cove froze. It’s a seagull party and they come in to bathe in the brackish waters. It’s low tide and the muck is visible.

Several years ago the garden club had this rehab organization in with this eagle. He was hit by a tractor trailer and can never be released. Now he travels around educating people. I was about 10’ away from him. He leaned forward and projected a huge poop that traveled 6+ feet.

It’s finished! This was a fun project to work on. The hardest part was finishing the lashing and hiding the end! #basketry The last thing I want to do is polyurethane the base and rim. I’ll wrap the whole thing in paper and painters tape and hope it works 😁
