No other city department gets its own opinion about how much staff it should have constantly laundered through press as fact. Muni, Public Works, Dept. of Public Health, and many others have a much stronger case for *actually* being short-staffed relative to quality of services SFans deserve
Glad to see the interim S.F. police chief acknowledge how “incredible” it is for SFPD to be “short staffed” yet crime drops dramatically. Almost as if there’s more to crime prevention than larger PD budgets sfstandard.com/2025/12/03/s...

more wires for @trains.bsky.social - harnessing up the blower motor, which turns on both when explicitly enabled via a switch, but also when the thermostat in the motor windings closes. I forgot to put braiding on the thermostat wires and will have to fix that.

hey weird car / surprisingly model train bluesky, and leads on where I can get replacement mini bayonet lamp style rivet on sockets / internals? Found some potential ones being sold as a Lionel replacement.
