The Apple WebKit team has still been working on C++ memory safety, beyond just changing / expanding their use of libpas.

Type confusion bugs remain an issue, and I imagine they don't want to rely exclusively on the 1/16 crash chance for what allocators + MIE covers.

I like the idea because it reduces the time tax. If everyone gets it, there's no need to waste time jumping through hoops to prove continued eligibility.

@alexreardon.bsky.social might have a couple of drag & drop bugs, though I wouldn't be surprised it it's mostly Blink and WebKit bugs left at this point.
