Good point, but they do strip them out & so ensure the impact on the environment is reduced - also the navies do it very rarely. And the data they gather from a 'real' one every now and then helps to reduce that. Also feel footage provided here by Norwegians is chilling, hopefully helps deter war.

The so-called 'gift' of drone footage 😢 Something on a much bigger scale, but which this video footage reminds me of very much (in all its horrifying detail) was the sinking of HMS Hood (from the POV of the 3 survivors) and as I conveyed in my book 'Killing the Bismarck' - relevant extract below.

The same warship had been through earlier SINKEX and survived but, alas, not a back-breaking torpedo.
