In every scenario there are tens, hundreds, of variables to consider

anyone who thinks gauging performance is as easy as "is this number of tickets/hours high" without considering "what have they actually done tho" should not be managing people

so I looked and 115 of those tickets were duplicates closed with, "duplicate ticket, closing," or ones he was handed after the problem was solved elsewhere.

It reminds me of a boss I had, maybe a decade back, who decided "number of tickets resolved" was an indicator of performance

we had one guy on the team who appeared to never do anything but was nailing 120 tickets a week

manager: but he gets SO MUCH DONE, see? 120!

I will never trust a billionaire white straight man, ever. But if his words inspire even a hundred people who I COULD trust to fight for the people...then it is an indirect good as a result.

I am ever baffled that anyone thinks any interpretation of anything trump says could ever result in anything good

its like using arsenic to argue for life, its from a poisoned well, why are you even tasting it

then we have people who are twisting themselves into pretzels to try and find hope in interpretations of the words of the people we KNOW are actively harming everything they touch

we're facing multiple problems, one of which is (IMO):

The words said aloud matter. Pritzker has the right words but not enough action IMO. So he nails the SAYING but not the doing. He feeds hope but doesn't bring relief.
