I think they were ghosts. but like maybe it’s a metaphor for the way we destroy the natural world even after we know that we should stop. Like the little girl seemed to one of the living last humans on earth. I see the dude as maybe an archangel. I’m not sure, so man possibilities.

I need to rewatch the original in a theaters again, but I was really surprised by the remake and its production over all. It deserves more credit. I was just talking to a friend about this - that I was thinking that either Luca Guadagnino should remake The Entity.

Oh and imagine that, it looks like Emil Bove may have consulted and advised administration officials to ignore court orders. A claim he denied during his judgeship confirmation hearing. The judge seems to want testimony. If this could take out Noem and light a fuse on Bove’s ,ass it would be clutch.

…We claim that intelligence is really if something is talking but then we never consider that these creatures could have incredibly complex languages/communication that is so different from us that we might completely miss that it's actal communication…

I think this is also pretty hilarious considering this is also the context we use to define what creatures on earth are intelligent. It’s real convenient since we can say they aren't as smart as us because they don't use our form of language. Never mind that nature constantly shows us differently…

Recently found this YouTube creator that really encapsulates so much of what I believe is problem with Star Wars right now. The creative and mouses inability grow and to move forward and beyond. Hopefully there’s a way to fix it. We’ll see.

That’s what 90% of Disney SW is like. People flap their heada, clap their hands like babies entertained by a loud, shiny object, manipulated by a familiar face. The knee-jerk “but it’s for kids” is a bullshit copout, it lets Disney and George off the hook, insults the audience and films legacy.

Yeah, right up to the part where Leia and Chewie just passed like ships in the night after Han was just murdered by the kid they all raised together. It as if they didn’t even know each other for almost 40 years. That no one on set was screaming how wrong that was is beyond me.
