Whenever I want to be unnerved, all I need to do is take a shower at the gym, because the sounds people make in there could frighten small children.

Happy to be home for a lot of reasons, not least because I’m reunited with my cat, but also because my apartment has bidets and I missed them.

No one would ever guess that the tune I’m bopping to on the subway is Poor Wandering One from Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance.

This is the first year I’m flying Delta out of SFO at this time of year instead of United, which means I’m at terminal 1 instead of terminal 3. And geez, it’s so much nicer. Terminal 3 is normally jam packed, whereas Terminal 1 is like a ghost town around the C gates.
