I took a lot of tylenol during one of my pregnancies for debilitating headaches, and almost none during the other. but if either of my children had been born without any neurodivergent traits, given their genetics, let’s just say it would be a lisan al-gaib type situation

Also the Tylenol thing is unfalsifiable. By saying there is an association between something MOST pregnant people do, especially without an alternative, they can claim to have “solved” it. It’s no different than if they said autism was caused by wearing shoes. They get credit without burden of proof

The Tylenol thing is just another way for them to undermine the trust pregnant people have in their doctors, which further erodes choice and increases maternal/infant mortality

I feel like not enough of you heard me tell you that you must read The Tainted Cup so I’m saying it again. two weird detectives in a quasi-Roman fantasy setting with the most interesting magic system I’ve seen in a while uncover murder plot while beset by… fine I’ll call them kaiju
sigh I should really write a Newsletter of Why You Should Read The Tainted Cup but if I do that then I really ought to actually publish my GOTY list from last year first.
