It’s amazing to me how much influence that project by Kara Walker has had. I’m lucky to have seen it, but I still have a very mixed feelings about it because of its role in the development of the Domino site. This is one of my photos from the project.

I went to see eagleswitheyesclosed and Tanya Lukin Linklater’s “buffalounit” for “bison bison (dance_hum for dirtbath)” which is part of Duane Linklater: 12 + 2 at Dia:Chelsea. The movements echoed bison and seasonal transformation. It was very vulnerable and moving.
