From what I see, Zillow is pretty disciplined fiscally so they’re very conservative with hiring.

In my case, as an interviewer. It is very applicable in many scenarios. I ask this of myself and when looking at others’ ideas/concepts.

I’ll ask, “What’s the hypothesis here? What trade off are you asking users to make? What did you learn about the users’ behavior? How did you know that was successful?”

That’s over simplifying it. Mississippi is red; GA and VA are swing states. Although the seats are for state governance, the seats have been held by Repubs for quite some time. These wins represent notable reversals or intrusions into Republican territory, not just “safe blue state” victories.
