Fun times with AI today. Joined a new slack channel for work and lots of folks have cutesy AI generated avatars...so I asked stable diffusion AI to make a "capybara avatar"... "nerdy capybara avatar".... "nerdy female capybara avatar" ... uh is that capy boobs? I gave up.

One year the National Hurricane Center had my name followed my then husbands name in the same year.
This year it’s a slight variation of my name. NHC is in Miami. I grew up in Miami. Same university campus. Whomever I crossed along the way, I’m sorry, but please stop naming hurricanes after me 😩😂

With Piz Daint getting decommissioned my supercomputing mosaic is now a collection of bygone machines. So sad but it means that new machines have come online ready to help with science. #HPC
