If anyone following is looking for Let's Active streaming today, two albums are up, Every Dog Has His Day & Big Plans For Everybody. Afoot & Cypress have some singles showing but a snafu has delayed full album streaming for ~a day

Included in the many TMBG shows I saw were the 1st Flood tour and the 3-year-Covid delayed 35th anniversary Flood tour

I am the master of missing out on Mitski due to damn ticketbots buying them all up. Really pretty bitter about it. So, um, how many times have you seen Shearwater? I bet it's, like, a LOT

I really wanted to go to that but it's the same night that I've got tickets for Jay Som, who I've never seen live. I hate to miss the annual Warren Dunes Xmas show. I'll catch La Fonda along with Dining Dead,Semisoft, Waltzerr and others at their Sunset fundraiser show the next night.

The set was great, but tbh the part I loved the most was them talking about how much Tacocat inspired them. Jet///Lag did an incredible set of Nirvana covers. It was so tough to choose between all the great Halloween shows this year but glad I ended up at that Kraken show

side note, Iffin is on my list of concerts I've seen more than once

Just before Halloween I saw The Disorderlies do a full set as a Tacocat cover band, as UFOTOFU and it was wonderful. Fun to see another band gush about how much they love and respect Tacocat.

I love them! I know one of those times was with me at CHBP. I've seen them twice too but for the life of me can't remember where the first time was. Probably a decent chance it was also with you. And of course, many Tacocat shows.

I thought and going all-local but decided to do a multi-decade and genre version instead

Many times. Once got invited to an after-show party at the Room Nine house (they opened). A surreal experience. Damn, I miss Scott. Weirdly, I never saw The Loud Family live.

(consoling myself in the fact that I saw The Beths three times in the last four months and I live in the Seattle area, not Auckland, NZ)
