If they can't even deliver the jet with the features it was graded on, why buy any?? Delivery on them is waaaaay down the road too. Whereas Gripen can be delivered in a couple of years.

They're pretty much handing us their IP to create any add-ons & we have the people that can do it.

F-35s are notorious for all the required maintenance costs ($$$) & we may not get all the promised features.
Gripen...much cheaper from the get-go & a lot less to keep it in the air, rather than in the hangar.

As a kid it was my job to keep the driveway clear. Just turned 66 & I’m done with shoveling. I can do a 5 car driveway, 60’ front sidewalk & 20’ back deck before I run out of power.
It cuts thru 6” easily. The drifts you have to lift it up & shave them down first. It throws snow 15’. I love it!!!

My battery operated Snow Joe shovel couldn't handle it. First time in 6 yrs I had to use an actual shovel. It cut through all the snow & the high drifts on Friday, though. 🤔

Just a couple of inches of wet, HEAVY snow that's going to be a bugger to shovel.

Exactly the reason for my initial comment. There was some sort of threat involved...whether it was military or blacklisting of some kind, who knows. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's never been at the top of my list for a winter holiday but this is one more reason not to travel there.
