My new video is about ANATOMY, one of my all-time favorite horror games.

It’s short, strange, and vividly memorable. A quiet experiment in fear that uses sound and your imagination to break the fourth wall in ways most games never dare.

ANATOMY is a game about a house that’s alive, alone, and hurting. A house that slowly tears itself apart.

I made a video about its beauty, its horror, and the quiet sadness hiding behind its tapes:

I was truly obsessed with this game even before it came out. It took me a while to play it too, because it was one of the first PC games to require your GPU to have the Shader 3.0 feature. So I had to wait a while for an upgrade.

What about you? Ever played Jericho?
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Nowadays, it's hard to play Jericho through legal means as the game is only available on PS3 and Xbox 360. For PC, you gotta pirate it.

It *was* on Steam, but it got delisted a couple years ago. Its community page can still be seen here:

Still, Jericho found a small cult following. I was, personally, obsessed with it. Big Clive Barker fan here.

Fans like me still love its lore, grotesque enemies, and its weird blend of theology and gore.

It’s messy. It’s flawed. But it’s unforgettable and edgy as hell.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Timing didn’t help either.

2007 was a stacked year: BioShock, Crysis, Call of Duty 4, the Orange Box. How do you even stand against those games?

Jericho looked dated, played clunky, and got buried under better shooters.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Well, despite the vision, the hype moments and aura, Jericho wasn’t a hit.

Critics praised its art and atmosphere… But tore apart the gameplay, AI, and pacing.

It looks awesome. Metal as fuck. But its gameplay loop was so shallow, unfortunately.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
It would be hard to call Jericho a horror game in the traditional sense. Its horror was ritualistic, grotesque, almost spiritual.

Barker described it as exploring the disease of godhood.

It’s cosmic horror through a military scope. Guns galore.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
The environments and creature designs were just pure Barker.

🩸 Fleshy corridors
🕰️ Time-warped battlefields
💀 Demons inspired by ancient soldiers

A descent through layers of hell across history.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Gameplay mixed tactical squad combat with supernatural FPS mechanics.

You’d possess teammates mid-fight, combine powers, and juggle roles.

It was chaotic, ambitious, and often overwhelming, but kinda different. It's a concept that could actually work today.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
It's a team based shooter, believe it or not. You control 7 characters.

Each squad member has unique weapons and supernatural powers: Blood magic, telekinesis, exorcisms, pyromancy.

You can swap between them in real time.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
The setup: a secret U.S. military unit, Jericho Squad, is sent to a cursed Middle Eastern city where an ancient being called The Firstborn is breaking into reality.

Think Doom, Hellraiser, and Event Horizon had a baby.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Developed by MercurySteam (yep, the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid Dread devs) and published by Codemasters.

The story came straight from Clive Barker, the author of Hellraiser and Nightbreed, a man who doesn’t really do “safe” horror. Grotesque stuff.
November 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
A tactical shooter written by one of horror’s best authors, where your squad battles ancient evil inside the womb of a god.

Let’s talk about Clive Barker’s Jericho (2007), one of the strangest, most ambitious horror FPS games ever made. 🩸

🎃LIVE NOW 🎃

Starting a fresh playthrough of Clive Barker's Jericho after more than 15 years.

This game is like a fever dream. But no, it's real and I love it, goddammit.

Thanks for watching. Flesh Made Fear was awesome. Easily my favorite survival horror game this year.

Just got back from DevGAMM and ready for Horror Friday.

Not only that, but it also has a killer cast of voice actors who've done a great job. Not to mention all the meaty sound effects and the top notch soundtrack.
